Album update 2014 woo woo

Last summer, I headed to Lafayette to go to work on my first studio album. 11 tracks.

Since then, I've flown to Nashville to mix it with my buddy and amazing dude Paul Kintzing. We're still putting the final touches on it. I can't wait to let you hear what the band has been working on.

In the interim, I'm working on a limited edition run of a collection of our first three EPs—Friendly, Central Discount and All But Gone.

The collection is called Whatever, Sorry and features all 18 tracks from said EPs on one disc.

More information on the release will be coming soon.

For now, we are excited to announce a slate of shows this Spring.

3/28 — with Mahayla at Chelsea's Cafe, Baton Rouge
4/12 — Blue Moon Saloon, Lafayette
5/24 — with Maker's Reel at Mud and Water, Baton Rouge

More details, flyers and info coming soon. Thank you for being patient.

Studio update!

We are hard at work on our first, full-length studio album.

The disc is being produced by Aaron Thomas and worked on at KRVS Studios in Lafayette. Paul Kintzing will head the mixing and mastering of the disc later this year.

Thomas has impeccable credits, including working with Brass Bed, Allison Bohl, Caleb Elliott and many, many more.

So far, seven tracks have been put to tape. We have a few sessions left. And yes, as you see in the picture, the album will feature a few horns.

Among the musicians who have contributed and helped out are Jonathan Loubiere, Jacques Doucet, Christiaan Mader, Lee Barbier, Andrew Toups and Ross Lawrence.

The album will feature 10 songs, overall and will be released in 2014. More updates coming soon!

New single out 11/1/11

We will release a new single next Tuesday, November 1.

"Roach Motel" and "Saturday City Lights" will be available via free download on our bandcamp website.

Here is the cover.

The songs were recorded at Northmaiden Studios and The Plantation. Both songs were produced by Matthew Sigur and are mastered by German Error Message's Paul Kintzing.

After this release, we will be heading down to NOLA to record a few tracks for a little somethin'-somethin'.

Until then, see you 11/1/11.
